It is currently 11:42 am on Friday, July 21, and I have realized that things take time. I know this isn’t news to many, but it starts to resonate when you sit back and let it sink in. I’m glad I posted my first video and getting ready to make another one.
I am also working on another project and honing my skills. I don’t say I’m an expert, but I consider myself a seasoned crocheter. I still have more room to grow even though I’ve been doing this for more than 20 years. You can still learn a thing or two.
Yesterday was my little sister’s birthday, and I told her and will continue to tell her that I’m proud of her and appreciate her existence on this planet. She’s all I have, and I want her to know how much I value her. She’s been coaching me to continue doing my craft in crocheting, and I intend to.
From Wares to Patterns
Since it is only me, I’ve decided that I will start selling the patterns for my merchandise instead of the actual plushes. I will continue to sell my merchandise locally, but I will switch to selling the patterns as far as taking orders online is concerned. Look forward to that. 🙂
For now, you can browse my pages and look at the creations I’ve made. There will be a big update where I post all of my projects, so you can see what I’ve created and continue to create. You may also check out my Instagram page to see more current stuff and live videos.
Lesson 2: Sneak Peak
I’ve decided that I want to show two different stitches in addition to single crochet. I will go ahead and attempt to teach the magic circle. The magic circle was very complicated for me when I first learned it. It took me about three months to really get it down. As an educator, teaching your students something that isn’t your strong point is challenging; however, the more you do it, the easier it gets. While I’ve become a wiz at making the magic circle, teaching is a challenge for me. Nevertheless, if I am to be your content creator and teacher, I need to strap my boots on and grab the bull by the horns. In the wise words of one of my favorite video games, Tekken, I’m going to get ready for the next battle:
Teaching the magic circle vs. EC World Designs!
Battle one! Fight!
