It has been some time since the last time I wrote anything due to life happening, but that’s alright. Life is full of learning experiences. Though this might be a bit short, I wanted to provide you with some updates!

New Videos–New Name

There may be some confusion when you suddenly see cozycatcrochet instead of ecworlddesigns. I thought to myself that if I’m to steer in the direction of crochet and fiber arts, my brand name should match that. EC World Designs did not specify exactly what I do. It served me well for the time it was out, but I really feel that Cozy Cat Crochet is better. It shows that I’m a cool cat who likes to crochet while comfortable. That is essentially what I do!

I also decided to go back to my YouTube channel after a long hiatus. Life just kept getting busy, but I also needed to do some self-care. Now that I feel I’m ready to get back out there, I will do my best to put out new video content. I decided to go back to the basics. What that means is that I want to redo how I’m teaching to cater to audiences that prefer a slower-paced style of learning the basics of crocheting. It had been a request from my friends before to slow down, and to take my time and instruct. I am also watching videos to see how to better work iMovie because I want to expand my creativity through my videos to truly show the beauty of crocheting.

Historical Fun!

What I’d also like to do is expand on the history of crocheting. Perhaps, I will do a report on the history of crocheting and do a video using images that I find along the way. I have seen many bloggers do that, and I think that is so nice! I will also have a video on the tools needed to begin the crochet journey. I think that this will be a promising venture if done well. I can’t wait to do it!
